Iván formed the Frideswide Duo together with the British singer Megan Baddeley, after they met during their studies at the Musikhochschule Trossingen in Germany.    They focus on folk-inspired repertoire for voice and guitar, with a particular interest in music from Britain and Colombia.

They also give workshops introducing children to Latin American folk music and rhythms.
